As excitement grows for the upcoming launch of the web3 RPG, Astra Nova and PlayMakers announce their collaboration. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to empowering players through User-Generated Content (UGC): an approach that will change the face of gaming, present and future.

Astra Nova seeks to harness the potential of UGC to foster greater player engagement and creativity. Through the integration of PlayMakers’ UGC solution, Astra Nova aims to encourage its community to become active participants in the game’s development process.
The partnership between Astra Nova and PlayMakers exemplifies their commitment to collaborative game development, positioning Astra Nova as one of the first games built in collaboration with its community.

“We’ve recognized the immense value that our community brings to our project by involving them early on in the creative process,” asserts Faizy Ahmed, CEO of Astra Nova. “Through the PlayMakers infrastructure, we believe we can elevate this engagement to new heights.”

UGC created by the Astra Nova community will encompass various aspects of the game, including assets such as mounts, comic strips and more, enhancing the overall gaming experience and fostering a sense of ownership among players.

The “Creators Hub” will be available on the Black Pass Platform (blackpass.astranova.world). Black Pass is a SocialFI platform accessible through a free soulbound NFT, mintable at the time of joining. On this platform, users will undertake social quests and collect shards (points). It all begins with Season 1, centred around Astra Nova’s upcoming game demo.

Astra Nova’s demo play test is launching in May 2024, with PlayMakers’ UGC tools becoming available shortly thereafter. This partnership not only signifies a major milestone for both companies but also sets a new standard for community-driven game development in the web3 era. With Astra Nova and PlayMakers leading the charge, the future of gaming looks increasingly collaborative and player-centric.
